Samy's EDU is a digital photography training center comprised of classes and workshops based out of all 5 Samy's Camera locations. Samy's EDU also puts together fun excursion workshops where the goal is to get out and shoot as a group. Recent excursions include Lensbabies on Broadway where each student was furnished a Lensbaby to shoot artistic shots inside the Bradbury building and of the old theater facades along Broadway in downtown LA. There was also the Dim Sum train to Chinatown where the group met at the Pasadena store and took the train to Chinatown for photography and a Dim Sum lunch. These are a great way to meet other like minded people while getting out to shoot.
