APA Membership Categories:                    

•General Member: Professional photographer in the photography business working as a photographer or marketing him or herself as a photographer for three years or more. Annual membership dues: $350 (see below for details and payment options)

•Emerging Photographer Member: Professional photographer in the photography business working as a photographer or marketing him or herself as a photographer for less than three years. Annual membership dues: $225 (see below for details and payment options)

•Assistant Member: Photographer's assistant working as an assistant only, not working as a photographer or marketing him or herself as a photographer. Annual membership dues: $125 (see below for details and payment options)

•Student Member: Full-time student of photography or photography-related field. Must provide proof of full-time student status. Annual membership dues: $45 (see below for details and payment options)

•Affiliate Member: Open to any professional who is not a photographer, engaged in a field associated with photography. Annual membership dues: $125 (see below for details and payment options)
